Retirement (part 2)

Hari Perlantikan Pengawas dan Pengawas PSS - today.

As I'm no longer a librarian, now I can feel some freedom. Volunteered to be a "gladiator" to fight in the "coliseum", taught me so many things and one of it- academics don't really guarantee you a good life.

I feel like telling some stories of myself being a Ketua Disiplin...

2007- I'm a newcomer, nobody knows me, and I'm the Ketua Disiplin. How those suppose to work? Hemm.. I have to do something..
At the assembly, the PSS guys seem like they don't know how to dress in formal event. The neckties, shirt arms, overall= OMG. Tian Gee, this boy is hard as stone, no better words seems to put any effects on him. What I can do is just repeating the order over and over, every week. I love to smile, but it was not really helping me on my job as Ketua Disiplin as Mr. Shan wanted me to be serious and strict.

2008- Now every PSS knows me. Maybe because of my often appearances as speaker in briefings and meetings.(well....) i love to talk to them and there're no racial boundaries between us. Tian Gee, now dressed neater than last year. I use no roughness, but treating them with love. And for sure, they will love you back. NO need to be strict all the time.

PSS Telematch

Saturday morning, I would rather have a very nice wake-up-late, but I chose to go to the school. I want something to remember, as I'll leave this school next year.

7.00 am, some of the librarians-on-duty started their preparation. I was just looking, since i have no idea what were they trying to do. Then Bee Wann asked for my help to mix flour with red paint. (I felt like making cekodoks). Done, then I helped Kinki with the balloons. After awhile, Chiok Yau asked me to buy some ice cubes at the Petronas. He said nothing about money, so I just went to the Petronas along with my wallet and buy the ice cubes - RM8.00. That's a big money, man. I can get a full tank of fuel with the money.

8.30 am, all the PSS's gathered at Laman Bestari. Divided into teams, and a team have to choose a leader. As Boon Tat wanted me to be the leader, I threw back the post to him. He's the leader.(I'm sick to lead all the time)

The game started, from searching for "treasures in pail of damn cold water", until "be fast or get wet", I really enjoyed the games. Actually I expect the games to be boring. I was wrong.

Looking at them being so happy, running here and there, reminds me of my childhood life. As my hand being in the pocket, I found a wet RM8.00's receipt of the ice cubes. After a moment of thought...I threw away the receipt and continue playing with them.

Retirement (part 1)

Finally, the time has come. I will be free.. No more papers, no more meetings, no more briefings.

But, I want to share my disappointment since I will be no longer a Librarian. Firstly, whoever that read this stuff, I really mean it ok?

(2008)The new President of the PSS, will be Yong Kit Siong. And know what? I never heard his name before. He was never be a librarian before, but since he was the only guy in Form 6 in in PSS, he become the President even though there are experienced girl librarians in Form 6.

compare his story with my story below.

(2007)I'm new in the school, and I'm the only guy in Form 6 who was interested to be a librarian. Why? Because I'm always a librarian. I was also a librarian as Ketua Harian in my late school. (Ketua Harian is more powerful than the president) But, I got no specialty in the group just because I'm a newcomer. My advantage point totally turned to zero. Moreover, a girl who was a librarian only in her form 1, get the President's seat.

judge both of the stories.

If you want to say that I'm a gila kuasa guy, just go ahead. That's mean you need plenty more of years to grow up.

Yes, I did want the president's seat. Why? A successful company depends on willingness of the leader to lead. I didnt want the seat just to promote myself or get higher co-curriculum's point, but I believe I can do something for the PSS.

Pensil the Movie by M. Subash

He was my teacher. Maybe yours too. He helped me so much with my science subjects.. To show my appreciation, I would like to promote his movie..

The Synopsis

Badrul (M. Subash) is a handicapped guy with a good heart and respect towards the elderly. Despite of being tortured and loathed by his stepmother (Maimon Mutalib), his love and obedience towards his mother is unquestionable. Life is full of challenges as he faces incidents and non-stop tests that only make him a stronger person. Along his journey to achieve his dream, he meets Junid (Jalil Hamid), a psycho who lives in lonely because of his dark past. Friendship was built on the similarities that are shared between them - being isolated and loathed by the villagers. Badrul teaches Junid to discover the beauty of Islam. Together they lead a meaningful life as well as pursuing his dream of becoming an artist.

Science-for-what?

I was a schools traveler. I got many friends from many schools. Of course, mostly of them were science stream's students.

I was secretly checking their Friendster's profile(I'm good at it) and curiously wanting to know how are they now (true friend yeah). They grow weird hairstyles, and now they got pimples.. haha.

Back to the past, I can still remember how they are so focusing in studies, in labs, in classes which I rarely do it. Physics class which I hate the most, not the subject, but the teacher.. I dont think I learned anything from her, except the scolds, the bad words and the wooden ruler. Asked us to tick our own note and exercise books, and hand it over to her for a signature.. Isn't it %$#@%&?? My BM teacher said this word before I left the school, "Awak tolong jangan bagitahu siapa guru BM awak sekarang dekat sekolah baru awak nanti. Malu saya".. thanks, thats really encouraging.. %#$#@!!!

Back to the title, I was wondering, why most of these top science students, end up in art courses? ART. design, filming, directing, interior designing. For what, the time they had wasted in science class? For what, they killed innocent frogs in biology's class?

I dont want to write any longer, perhaps you'll understand.

by the way, I'm one of them too.

RM2.70 per litre?

WHAT THE HELL???

Thank god I watched Buletin Utama just now. The petrol's price will raised to RM0.78 by tomorrow?? OMG I cant believed this, 78 cents in one shot??! If now I only have to pay RM6 for a full tank for my bike, how much it's going to cost me next time? RM8? RM9? RM10?? Out from my weekly budget..

8.20pm- Can't hesitate any more time, my Dad, my bro, and my Dad's driver and I, try to reach the nearest petrol station, ESSO. I chose to go to the PETRONAS at Bandar Sri Permaisuri, since it has better quality petrol than ESSO's.

I was shocked.. 1 KM before the petrol station, I saw the worst traffic ever in my area. Even the motorcycles hardly passing through the traffic. Some of them having a short chat on their bikes. Very funny to see. For sure, they have the same point of destination.

I'm afraid if I have to wait for hours,.. sorry to the rest of the drivers.. I wrote for you something..

What to do,
I have to cut the queue,
I can't believe it is true,
I did it just for a full tank of fuel..

HAri Guru

Happy teachers day!!

I'm still new of this school's tradition oh teachers day. I think It's kinda alright.
many students participate in shows for the day and I am one of them.

The plan is like this; since Aisyah(KMP) announced that each form had to perform a show, so I planned to "pass" the job to the lower sixths which are not having any exams. it's my responsibility to make sure that the trainings are keep on going.

So they planned to sing. Ku Juga Mencintai Dirimu -Saiful. Ok, that's fine. Better than nothing. A girl(Kay Yan) and a dude(Murali) will play guitars, the others will sing. Ok, keep it on.

2 days before teachers day- the guitar girl didnt show up. We dont have much time to wait. I took over her place(hey.. I also can play guitar la) and I started practicing.

The day comes, we were only have lack of time to practice together. Suddenly, Murali were infected by "shakeeng nervousa" which the symptom resulting a shaky hands. That's a really bad condition for us, since his guitar's pick always jumping off from his hand.

our turn to perform, Murali's still not been cured. I was pretending to relax, I played my part, Murali did the same, suddenly, his guitar pick jumped off his hand again!! If not mistaken, the guitar pick jumped about 3-4 times during the show.

haha. I really enjoy the show, even though it was not the best performance, but I really having a good time practicing with them. They were nice.
